Lem Next Gen Science Forum 2026

On April 28–29, 2025, we participated in the Lem Next Gen Science Forum 2026 held at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to attend inspiring lectures and panel discussions focused on scientific career development, effective research communication, and strategies for securing research funding.

We actively contributed to the conference program: Grzegorz Bękarski, MSc, delivered a 4-minute presentation titled „Upconversion-based FRET for Next Generation in situ (bio)sensing", while Prof. Artur Bednarkiewicz moderated a panel discussion titled „Max Born Aliance – on the role on basic research for innovative technologies".

The conference also served as an excellent platform for promoting the scientific activities of the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research PAS among young researchers. We presented opportunities available at our Institute for completing bachelor's, engineering, and master's theses, as well as doctoral programs and research internships for students interested in pursuing scientific careers in materials science, spectrscopy and condensed matter physics.
